To assist in keeping up to date, I compiled the following table of the psychiatric medications that are FDA approved for the treatment of Bipolar Disorder I. The green boxes indicate “approved” while the red indicate “not approved.” Keep in mind that the headers Manic, Mixed, and Depression refer to acute episodes of bipolar disorder; “depression” here does not refer to major depressive disorder. I will do my best to keep this list updated, but if you notice changes please add them to the comments.
